Feeling A Bit Plain
I'm feeling a little plain today, it was hard work getting out of bed. Ha, ha! Not the usual spring and wide-eyed greeting of the day. It was more of a harrumph and "Oo, that morning sun sure is bright."
Strangely, I was craving roast chicken? WTF? Actually, not so much roast chicken, although that was definitely on my taste buds, it was roast potatoes I was craving.
You'd think I'd had enough meat and potato over the weekend to last me for, oh I don't know how long.
A quick check of the time, 11.25 and I thought, you know, it's not that far off lunch. And by the time I'd smoked a joint, washed the crusty lube from my loins and patched everything else back together, it was after midday by the time I was heading down the street towards the local Charcoal Chicken.
A quick take away coffee from Mario on my way and the day just seemed to burn a little brighter.
