Saturday Away

Chip was up early in tiny black shorts with his weights out on the lawn. Apparently, Chip never misses a gym day.

Evan and I stood by the front windows and did our morning exercise, with a fat doobie between us.

“He looks good,” says Evan.

“Would you like a tissue for that drool?” I asked.

“Shut up,” says Evan.

“I’m sure chip would accommodate you Ev, I hear he’s very accommodating.”

“Ha ha, I just said he looked good,” said Evan. “Can’t a guy pay someone a compliment without it meaning anything.”

“Yeah, sure,” I said. “But it isn’t usually paid breathlessly in another room with their tongue as good as hanging out.”

We all made our own breakfast. Jed and Trent had it all laid out.

“Stop mentally stripping that boy of what little he has on and come and eat something,” said Jed having quietly walked up behind us.

We skied all day Saturday, with Trent’s boat and Chip’s boat we all got a lot of skiing in.

They all looked sexy in their wetsuits. We’re all good water skiers, something we started way back in uni.

At some point, Jared disappeared indoors and whipped up a mountain of gourmet sandwiches for lunch, which he effortlessly had set up on a table on the front veranda before anyone had noticed him doing it.

“Yes, well, I haven’t lived with a chef for, oh how many years is it now?”

“Far too many to mention,” said Trent.

“Without learning a thing, or too.”

“That’s not the only thing that boy has taught you,” said Jed.

Jarred took a big breath, “Ain’t that the fucken truth,” said Jarred. “Every vice I posses.”

“And then a few,” said Chip.

“You guys,” said Carl.

We skied all afternoon right up until the sun was starting to fade in the west. We were all exhausted by then.

I took the pot and rolled joints all night.

Jed cooked a feast. Trent had the booze laid on.

The open fire roared.

We played 500. We laughed and got out of it. Evan and I teamed up and we won pretty much the games for the night.

The shack is surprisingly spacious with its 5 bedrooms. It's nice having your own space when you are away for the weekend with a bunch of guys.

Evan sleeps with me, again. I didn’t want him to sleep on the couch. The room we had had a double bed, so I cuddled up with him. He is always little spoon, I play big spoon. Both just in our jocks. Evan has slept in my arms, many times over the years, it is just a natural place for him. We were both asleep quickly.

I woke in the middle of the night and Evan was facing me with his arms around me. He smelt good, manly. Nick has said that Evan was in love with me, and always had been. So, I wrapped my arms around him and held him tight. He felt good in my arms there in the warmth of the bed. I pushed my nose into his hair and sniffed in his scent. I let my hands feel the soft skin on his back. He made kind of contented noises.

George and Chip got really chummy. George got drunk on wine and seemed unusually fascinated with Chip.

Jed & Trent shared a room, of course.

Luke’s there without boyfriend Josh and Jared’s (lawyer) there without boyfriend Lincoln, so Luke and Jared share a room, well, that is what they said they were going to do, but Luke first up asked if anyone had seen Jared, but then Jared arrived in the kitchen and asked Luke for a word and that was that.

Carl’s there without his girlfriend Hatty, he had his own room.

There was some commotion coming from Luke and Jarrd’s room late in the night. Jed was up stirring the pot, I assumed. I was too comfortable with gently snoring Evan in my arms to really be too interested.
