Blood Tests

I had an HIV test, I figured it was time. Do them all, all the blood tests. Cholesterol, the works. It is better to know these things, so when I say to somebody, “Yeah, I’m good,” I know it is true. And there is no still small voice saying in my ear, You can’t know that for sure, not anymore. I’m not expecting any surprises. It will be all routine. Marking off the years, you know.
