My First Work Drinks

I started on Monday and today there was work drinks, my first, and our story had, obviously, got out. Ben had a girlfriend. And then Ben had a boyfriend, and the boyfriend was the new guy, which is me. I was what superseded Amy, it seemed everyone was fascinated with that. A straight boy with a gay boyfriend was endless hours of intrigue and questions. The bar was open and everybody seemed to get, if not drunk, certainly socially oiled. And while I might be a little reserved in my private life, I’m not usually reserved at work. I’m not really sure why? I’ve always thought it was because I am good at my job, even if I can be somewhat disinterred at times, and that gives me a kind of work confidence. All the secretaries who always fancied Ben wanted to know the gory details, I was a little shocked. “Hi, I’m Mary-Lou, you’re Josh, aren’t you?” “Yes,” I said. “The new guy.” Stacey, one of the other secretary’s joined us. Gabriel’s Secretary, Kitty was with Mary-Lou, they both had a rather ...

First Day in the Office

First day at work. Easy day. Most law firms look a like now a days, generally you can only tell them apart when you see the letter head. I’ve got a float named Hayley who seems barely competent. Kaye will start in a few weeks, despite what she said previously. She said she needed to get her head together. I started ramping it up and Hayley looked like a deer in the headlights, so I am going to have to take it slow with her. My computer didn’t work for most of the morning, I had IT on the job for quite a while. I had lunch with Ben. I offered to suck his cock in the bogs, but he turned me down. “I remember the day you’d have your cock out in seconds.” “Be serious,” said Ben. “Don’t you remember that time…” “I couldn’t get your cum stain out of those pants no matter how much wet paper towel I used.” “That’s the danger of having them around your ankles.” Ben and I walked home up Rathdowne Street together. He dropped in at my place on his way to his place. We kissed as soon as we got in t...

Say Yes

I managed to get Kaye’s number from one of my legal contacts. And with great trepidation, I called her number. “Hello?” “Kaye?” “Yes?” “It’s Josh.” “Josh who?” “Josh Grant.” There was silence. Then the phone went dead. I called again. “Hello?” “Kaye?” “Yes?” “Its Josh.” The phone went dead. I called again. “You had better have a very good reason for calling me, and if the first words out of your mouth aren’t the words I want to hear, I am hanging up again. Choose your words carefully.” “How are you?” The phone went dead. I sipped my coffee and thought for a moment. I called again. “Hello.” “I’m sorry.” “There you go,” said Kaye. “You always were a smart boy, nobody could say you weren’t.” “How are you?” “I am good. How are you?” “I am good too, thanks for asking.” “What do you want, Josh?” “What have you been up to?” “I’ve been good,” said Kaye. “Tell me what you want?” “How’s Rocco?” “Oh, really Josh, get to the point.” “You are making me nervous,” I said. “Surely, I still have a smal...

Kaye Marion

I take my coffee out to the back veranda. So, a new job, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I start on Monday. On Monday. I start in a week. Oh fuck. I sip my coffee. I wonder how I get in contact with Kaye Marion, my old secretary? I wonder if it is even fair? I abandoned her at Hacks. After all this time. How long has it been? And I’m only working 3 days per week. I sip my coffee. I can’t work without her. No, I can’t. Well, I could, but it wouldn’t be nearly as easy, she made my life a dream. I wonder if she is even talking to me? I think the last words she said to me were, “You are a right bastard.” And then I never contacted her again. I sip my coffee. She started with me at GratisBryn and she transferred with me to Hacks. Oh, how stupid was I to leave GratisBryn and go to Hack Hack Dumfrey the black law firm. If only I knew then what I know now. Awful people at Hacks, even with their celebrity CEO and his actress wife. He never had a clue about all the back stabbing and lying and cha...

New Job

New year, new boyfriend, new job. Yeah, back to work, at Ben’s law firm, Gertrude’s Lawyers. It was Ben’s idea. I was hesitant. There was a junior’ish role going, they said I was over qualified for it, but they gave it to me any way. Three days per week. And for some reason they wanted a guy, which I didn’t question. They were having trouble getting a guy to do three days. The interview was at midday, so at 7am I thought I had plenty of time to sober up from an early joint. 8am, the same story, four hours was plenty long enough to sober up. 9am, I was tonguing for another one. 10am. I had coffee and a joint in the garden, all the time wondering if it was a good idea. 11am I told myself that the shower I was about to have would clear my head anyway. So, I went to the interview stoned. I met with the Director of HR, Nick Hanson, the CEO Managing Partner, Rolland Rollo, and who would be my partner, Gabriel Knight. “I don’t have any career aspirations,” I heard myself saying to the board o...

Moving into My Place?

Ben pretty much moved into my place on the weekends after that. We lived our own lives during the week, but on the weekend, we were boyfriends. We went to things together. We did everything together. He introduced me to his football buddies. There was some hesitation to begin with, from a couple of the guys, apparently. One of the guys, Andre, the red-haired ruck, had a problem with Ben being in the showers with him. He was worried Ben would look at him. But then a couple of the other players, Tank and Griff, told him that they’d all looked at him, sized him up, and mentally recorded how big his dick was compared to everyone else’s. “I look at your little dick,” said Tank. “What’s the difference if it is me, or Ben?” “I’m fascinated with your red pubes,” said Griff. “So much so I’ve been tempted to come over and run my hand through them to see if they feel as different as they look.” All the other guys laughed. Andre blushed. Big, hunky Nick Kennedy said, “I don’t care, you can ogle my...
