Another Bulldog
Ben bought himself a bulldog, his name is Butch. Now we have a bulldog each. Ben just fell in love with Buster the first day he met him, like the two of us did.
We introduced Butch to Buster. Buster growled once and now he and Butch are pals.
Butch’s breeder was in the country, so we drove up to Shepperton to see him. We were only going to have a look, really. We stopped and had lunch on the way.
Of course, when we got there, Ben just fell in love with Butch, but, hardly surprising, who doesn’t fall in love with puppies.
“New house, new dog,” said Ben. “I’m going to get him.”
I’ve always been a traditionalist when it comes to bulldogs and it is always a red and white bulldog for me. Butch is black and white and tan, a tri-colour really. He’s gorgeous, cute as anything.
We sat on the floor back at Ben’s and played with Butch.
Ben set up Butch’s crate, using one makes it much easier to house train your puppy.
Butch was funny, we played with him until he went clunk and fell asleep on the rug.
He is such a sweet little guy. A blank canvass, that is what a new puppy is. You’ve gotta wonder what they are thinking when they look up at you when you first get them.
