My Last Day In The Office

So, that is it, I am heading home, walking out the door and not looking back. I'm done with the office for how long, we don't know?  How is this going to work, we don't know that either.

Is it all doomsday theories and conspiracy claptrap and we'll all be back in the office before we know what is what?

To think, I only took this job to get myself out of the house, because retiring in my mid thirties suddenly seemed like a bad idea. It was either resign myself to YouTube addiction, or go back to work. To think now I care about this place. I should be so ashamed that I can't think of something more creative to fill my life.

Is this all conservative political opportunism so they can get through the worst of their ideological thinking in the form of fossil fuel legislation, fossil fuel subsidies and coal mine expansion, and refurbishment of coal fired power stations, to beat the global warming army? (Or is that just retrograde Australian politics?) Crush the people before they really think they have power, while they are distracted with a pandemic.

Sigh.
